Who we are

Misrepresentation Fix ("we") runs misrepresentationfix.com. You can reach us at help@misrepresentationfix.com or 1363 Progress Way, PO Box 68, Sykesville, MD 21784.

What we collect

When you request a check, we collect your store URL, your email, the Merchant Center status you choose, any text you paste, and the page that referred you to us. When we run the check, we visit the public pages of your store, the same pages any visitor can see.

What we don't collect

We never ask for passwords, staff accounts, Merchant Center access or payment card details. If you buy the full report, payment is handled by Stripe and we don't see your card number. Our site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

We use your information only to run your check, email your results, and follow up about your report. We use automated tools, including AI models, to analyse your public pages and help draft your report. We don't sell your data or add you to marketing lists.

Services we use

We rely on a few providers to run the service: Vercel (website hosting), Google (Google Sheets and Gmail, where requests are stored and answered), Stripe (payments, if you buy a report) and AI model providers (to help analyse public pages and draft reports). They process data on our behalf to provide their services.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and reports for up to 12 months so we can answer follow-up questions, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing help@misrepresentationfix.com. We'll reply within 30 days.

Children

The service is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
